The Gilbert Arizona Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (LDS) in the town of Gilbert, Arizona. At 85,000 sq. ft., the Gilbert Temple is the largest temple the Church has constructed in 17 years. The five-level temple is 82.5 feet tall with a spire reaching 195 feet, making it the tallest building in Gilbert and one of the tallest in the entire Phoenix East Valley, where it resides on a 15-acre site. This temple is the 142nd operating temple of the LDS Church, the fourth in Arizona, and one of three in the Phoenix metropolitan area.
